Shotei Hayama
Born in Kumamoto 1948
Shotei Hayam is a director at the Yoh Shomei Museum in North-Kamakura. He is also the superintendent of the Aso Highland Museum Park in Kumamoto. He is the big brother to, and active producer of, Yoh Shomei art, as well as being involved in the protection of the Aso highlands and advocacy of the “Village Trust Movement”. He has also addressed public audiences through appearances on Television and Radio shows such as the NHK’s “Shinyabin”. His previous works include the books “Blue bee and the Old Tree” and “The Heart’s Wonderland”.

Illustrator
Born in Kumamoto 1976
Kenei had his first solo exhibition at the Yoz Gallery in 1995. He studied graphic design and fine art in the UK. In the year 2000 he had hi portfolio of poetry entitled “Fate and Meditation 2000” published. He applies his talents in various fields such as CD jacket illustration or producing the artwork for picture books. In 2007 he won a silver medal for a poster he created for a countrywide sightseeing group. His book “Tenkuu Yuuba” (Lit. Horse playing in the sky) is currently in publication.
